Linton’s Purintun signs with U-Mary
Linton-Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock’s Justin Purintun has signed with the University of Mary.
Linton-Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock’s Justin Purintun has signed with the University of Mary.
The 6-foot-2 shooting guard averaged 21.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 4.3 steals for the Lions and was named a Mr. Basketball finalist and first-team all-state selection. He finished his career with 1,148 points.
Purintun is a member of the National Honor Society and will study business communication at Mary.
“I chose the University of Mary because I feel it’s a great fit for me,” he said. “I’ve always been around U-Mary athletics and the basketball program seems it will fit me well. … I’m excited to work hard and contribute to the team next year.”
