Lexie Starceski of Helena, Mont., has signed with the Jamestown College women’s soccer team.
Starceski, a striker/defender at Capital High School, is a 4-year letterwinner and team captain. Her team placed third in state in 2010 and won the Western Conference title in 2011.
She was the team’s top offensive player in 2009, MVP in 2010 and is a 2-time runner-up for the Montana Gatorade Player of the Year. She played club soccer for Helena Arsenal.
“We are very excited that Lexie has committed to becoming a Jimmie,” JC coach Phillip Bohn said. “Lexie is a very versatile player that has the unique ability to have an impact as an attacker or a defender. We have no doubts that she will be an impact player for this program on and off the field.”
She also competed in track and is an Academic All-State selection.
