N.D. woman killed in car crash near Tolna

An 86-year-old woman died when her car crashed into another vehicle near Tolna in northeastern North Dakota.

TOLNA, N.D. (AP) — An 86-year-old woman died when her car crashed into another vehicle near Tolna in northeastern North Dakota.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said the woman was traveling on a Nelson County road. She pulled into an intersection and hit another car.

The Highway Patrol said the older woman didn’t yield the right of way at the intersection.

A 23-year-old woman was driving the second car. Emily Danduran of Grand Forks was taken to hospital in McVille. Her 2-year-old passenger wasn’t injured.

The woman who was killed isn’t being identified while her relatives are notified.
