Firefighters respond to smoke-filled apartment in northwest Jamestown

The Jamestown Fire Department responded to an apartment that had been filled with smoke by a fire at about 4 p.m. Saturday.

The Jamestown Fire Department responded to an apartment that had been filled with smoke by a fire at about 4 p.m. Saturday.

Lt. Robert Opp of the Jamestown Police Department, supervisor at the Law Enforcement Center, said the fire was out before firefighters arrived at the apartment in northwest Jamestown.

No information about the size or cause of the fire was available.
