To submit an activity, email it to ksteiner@jamestownsun.com — with “Calendar” in the subject line — or fax to 701-952-8477. Include the type of event, date, time, location (including address) and any admission fee. Provide a contact name and telephone number for verification/questions.

Commercial events (those meant to earn a profit for a business) will not be accepted for this calendar.

Special events

Student recital, Valley City State University, 7:30 p.m., Froemke Auditorium on the VCSU campus. Admission is free.

Ebrahim Victory presents “The History of the Universe,” 7 p.m., Voorhees Chapel. The event is free.

Alzheimer’s Association Support and Education Group, 2 p.m., Eventide at Hi-Acres Chapel.

Public meetings

Jamestown Public School Board, 5:15 p.m., Thompson Community Room, Jamestown Middle School.
