Toso speaks at SCARTA meeting

The Stutsman County Area Retired Teachers Association met March 27 with 17 members and guests attending.

Discussion involved the State Retired Teachers Convention that will be held in Jamestown during August.

The guest speaker was Bob Toso, superintendent of Jamestown Public Schools. He informed the group about his involvement with a committee of Jamestown organizations proposing to build an activity center in Jamestown.

The next meeting of SCARTA will be April 24 at the James River Senior and Community Center. Election of officers will be held and selection of the Silver Apple Award will be discussed. Maren Radi, hospice coordinator at Jamestown Regional Medical Center, will be present a program.
