Montpelier OK Clubs meets April 3
The Montpelier OK Club met on April 3. The club met with 17 members and one guest, Shirley Gorthy. The pledge was said and Bob Sarbaum, vice president, opened the meeting. Jan Van Bruggen had three stories.
The Montpelier OK Club met on April 3. The club met with 17 members and one guest, Shirley Gorthy. The pledge was said and Bob Sarbaum, vice president, opened the meeting. Jan Van Bruggen had three stories. DeLila Everson and Harold Ratts had stories about outhouses. Secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were read and approved. The sick list included: Marlys Boughton, Erna Buchholz, and DeLila Everson’s husband. Also, Harley and Ruth Anderson lost their youngest daughter. The door prize went to Harriet Kartes.
Bingo was played with the following winners: small frame, Gerald Van Bruggen; and large frame and blackout, Sarbaum. Cards were played with the following winners in whist: high, Lorraine Gall; and low, Sonia Berg. In pinochle, high was Jan Van Bruggen and low was Sarbaum. Sharon Hattlewick furnished lunch.
