Mustangs defeat Raiders

Midkota picked up a 13-2 Region 3 victory over the Lakota/Adams-Edmore Raiders on Tuesday.

Austin Monson picked up the win and recorded 8 strikeouts on the hill for the Mustangs, who were led offensively with a 2-for-2 day at the place by Riley

Nelson. Nelson belted a triple, drove in a pair and scored a pair, while also stealing a base.

For the Raiders, Eric Haugland went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBIs, while Chris Miller went 2-for-2 with a double and a stolen base.

Sheyenne-NR 3, Harvey-WC 2

The Sheyenne-New Rockford Black Sox picked up a Region 3 victory at Harvey-Wells County in Class B baseball on Tuesday.

The Black Sox jumped out to a quick 2-0 star after the first inning and added another one in the top of the fourth as they’d hang for the win. Seth Gillis picked up the win on the mound for Sheyenne-New Rockford.
