Hanson to present voice recital

Jamestown College student Courtney Hanson of Graettinger, Iowa, will present her senior voice recital at 2 p.m. on Saturday, in Voorhees Chapel. The recital is free and open to the public.

Jamestown College student Courtney Hanson of Graettinger, Iowa, will present her senior voice recital at 2 p.m. on Saturday, in Voorhees Chapel. The recital is free and open to the public.

Hanson will perform works by various composers including Purcell, Faure and Menotti, as well as two works set to the words of William Shakespeare.

Hanson is a voice student of Dr. Richard Walentine. Jaime Namminga will accompany on piano.

Hanson is pursuing a major in music education at Jamestown College and has also served as student manager of the Jimmie soccer teams.

She is the daughter of Kevin and Jill Hanson.
