Schlenker receives language honors
Mariah Schlenker has been chosen as the foreign language student of the quarter by the Foreign Language department of Jamestown High School.
Mariah Schlenker has been chosen as the foreign language student of the quarter by the Foreign Language department of Jamestown High School.
Schlenker is a senior this year and has been studying Spanish for four years. She has been active in Spanish Club and this year serves as the club president. In addition, Schlenker is a member of National Honor Society, SADD and Reality Check. She also is a student representative of the Business Council and serves on the school LifeSmarts team. The team won the state competition this year and went to national competition in Philadelphia on April 1.
Mariah plans to attend college next year majoring in the medical field. She is the daughter of Beckie and Todd Schlenker.
