Lazo signs with Jimmie grapplers

Carlos Lazo, of Los Angeles, Calif., has inked a letter of intent to enroll at Jamestown College next year and compete in wrestling for the Jimmies.

Carlos Lazo, of Los Angeles, Calif., has inked a letter of intent to enroll at Jamestown College next year and compete in wrestling for the Jimmies.

Lazo is a Pan American qualifier, California state qualifier and four-time varsity letterwinner for Crespi Carmelite High School. He plans to compete at 125 pounds for the Jimmies.

“With the signing of Carlos, I feel that we will have both depth and strength at the 125-pound weight class,” Jamestown College head men’s wrestling coach C.J. Campbell said. “Carlos is a great athlete with a tremendous work ethic and is a welcomed addition to our team.”
