Chance LaBrie was dealing Thursday in New Rockford.
The Black Sox hurler fired a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts as New Rockford-Sheyenne topped Lakota-Adams-Edmore, 5-1.
LaBrie allowed only a single run in the top of the fifth, but nothing otherwise, recording 13 of his 21 on Ks.
Mason Haley and Seth Gilliss each went 2-for-3 with doubles for the Black Sox. Ethan Haley also doubled in the win as they improved to 2-2 overall and in Region 3.
The Black Sox host a triangular with Turtle Mountain and Larimore on Saturday.

Harvey got the game-winner in the top of the eighth inning to nip Carrington, 4-3.
Austin Schmidt and Scott Engelhorn dueled on the hill, but the Harvey hurler came out on top. Schmidt fanned nine Cardinals, allowing three runs on seven hits with two walks.
Mark Nyhus, Todd Selzer and Wyatt Toso each had two hits in the win for the Hornets.
Engelhorn registered seven strikeouts in eight strong innings for Carrington. Peter Henson and Brady Smith each had two knocks for the Cardinals. Alex Nelson had 2 RBIs.
