Rollover kills LaMoure County boy

An 8-year-old rural LaMoure County boy died Sunday afternoon of his injuries when a Polaris Ranger side-by-side off-highway vehicle he was driving rolled over, pinning him beneath it, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said.

An 8-year-old rural LaMoure County boy died Sunday afternoon of his injuries when a Polaris Ranger side-by-side off-highway vehicle he was driving rolled over, pinning him beneath it, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said.

The accident happened at 4:13 p.m. 10 miles east and four and a half miles north of Edgeley, N.D., on private property. The patrol said the accident did not happen on a roadway or in the right of way.

A 5-year-old rural LaMoure County boy who was a passenger on the vehicle was injured and was taken to Jamestown Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released, the patrol said.
