The Jamestown High School LifeSmarts team representing North Dakota has been eliminated from the national competition currently taking place in Philadelphia.
The Jamestown team took 12th place out of 32 teams competing. The top eight advanced to quarterfinals.
The team consists of coach Marchel Krieger, captain Declan O’Higgins, Mariah Schlenker, Kelsey Becker, Kyle Gee and Zach Fossen.
States to advance to the quarter finals include Maryland, Washington, Pennsylvania, New York, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Florida and Arizona.
States to advance to the semifinals, which start at 9 a.m. today, include Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Rhode Island.
