Zamora competes at Olympic Trials

Zamora ran into a pair of top wrestlers 72 kilograms. She opened against 2005 World Champion Iris Smith of Army, losing 5-0, 6-0.
There was no letup in competition from there as they met WCWA All-American Brittany Roberts of NAIA powerhouse Oklahoma City University and fell 7-0, 7-0.
Zamora, a sophomore from Orange City, Calif., qualified for the Trials by placing second at 72 kgs in the final qualifying tournament in Des Moines earlier this month.
Zamora’s target goal is to compete in the 2016 Olympics.
