ND woman pleads guilty to manslaughter charge

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon says a Cannonball woman has pleaded guilty to stabbing another person to death.

Twenty-seven-year-old Ivanna Red Bow pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of voluntary manslaughter in U.S. District Court.

Prosecutors Red Bow stabbed Loren Uses Arrow in the chest during an argument and Uses Arrow died.

Red Bow faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine when she is sentenced July 30.
