Fargo woman accused of endangering child
Authorities say a 31-year-old Fargo woman has been charged with felony reckless endangerment after police say she broke out the window of a car with a 3-year-old child inside during a dispute with a former boyfriend.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say a 31-year-old Fargo woman has been charged with felony reckless endangerment after police say she broke out the window of a car with a 3-year-old child inside during a dispute with a former boyfriend.
Charging documents show that Tiffany Lynette Downing suspected her former boyfriend of having an affair with a friend of hers.
The Forum reports that when she saw the two of them leaving together in her friend's car on Sunday, Downing allegedly became upset and broke the rear window of the car with a crowbar.
Authorities say inside the car was her friend's 3-year-old son, who was nearly struck by the crowbar and was scratched by broken glass.
