War veterans are gathering in Devils Lake this weekend for the 23rd annual Dakota Bull Session.
DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (AP) — War veterans are gathering in Devils Lake this weekend for the 23rd annual Dakota Bull Session.
The event at the World War Memorial Building is open to veterans of all wars. Eighty-six-year-old Duane Carter of Devils Lake told the Grand Forks Herald that the older veterans are hoping to see more veterans of recent wars in the Middle East and Afghanistan.
Carter said about 100 veterans are expected this weekend, about one-third the turnout of five years ago.
