State parks have new horseback pass
North Dakota’s Parks and Recreation Department is offering an annual horseback pass for the four state parks that have horseback riding trails.
BISMARCK (AP) — North Dakota’s Parks and Recreation Department is offering an annual horseback pass for the four state parks that have horseback riding trails.
The $30 annual pass allows a rider to use trails in the Sully Creek, Fort Abraham Lincoln, Fort Ransom and Little Missouri parks from May 1 to April 30 without being charged a $6 daily fee, as long as the rider does not have multiple horses.
Officials said they developed the annual pass at the request of horse owners.
