JMS notches three wins in four games

The Jamestown Middle School baseball team went 3-1 this week. They opened with a 10-2 win over the Midkota JV with Tanner Lunzman getting 8 strikeouts in the win. He also was 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs. Tran Zerface added 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Andrew Hornung, Nolan Kratz, Nick Schaack and Seth Kenna all singled.

Midkota beat JMS in Game 2, 5-3. Zerface, Lunzman and Kenna had the lone hits.

In their second doubleheader, they swept the Sheyenne-New Rockford JV.

Bryton Dewald went 3-for-3 with a double in a 15-14 win. Zerface, Lunzman, Hunter Beckman and Brandon Harr doubled. Lunzman notched the win in relief with one inning and 3 Ks.

In the finale, Zerface and Lunzman each collected 2 hits in a 10-5 win over the Black Sox. Schaack doubled, had 3 RBIs and got the win on the mound. Harrison Coombs doubled and scored 3 runs. Seth Horn also had a 2-bagger.
