Bismarck is celebrating its 140th anniversary.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Bismarck is celebrating its 140th anniversary.

The first-ever Bismarck Founders Day will be celebrated with a birthday party on May 15.

The Bismarck Tribune reports that the event will be held at Camp Hancock. The building in downtown Bismarck is the oldest in the city.
