Chaplain Greg Odell, formerly of Bismarck, will speak at services at the Malcolm Church north of Tappen at 7 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

The theme for the weekend is: “Will the Circle be Un-broken?” Odell’s sermon text will be from Psalm 65 and John 14.

Odell served for eight years as the pulpit supply preacher at the Dawson and Malcolm churches. He spent 13 years living in Bismarck with his family and working with The Salvation Army. In 2004 he and his family moved to Alexandria, Minn. He continues his ministry as opportunities arise. He is a board member of To The Cross Ministries out of Williston.

In past few years, Odell’s eyesight has been failing due to a retina disease, so he can no longer drive. His driver, Tim Janke, will also share testimony.

Country-gospel singer Riley Dakota of Williston will give a concert at the 7 p.m. Saturday service and will share a few songs at Sunday morning service. Dakota is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Williston, and works in the Oil Patch with his family.

A freewill offering will be received at both services. The public is invited to attend.
