Watertown dancer signs with Jimmies
Taylor Burns of Watertown, S.D., has signed with the Jamestown College Knight Line Dance Team.
Taylor Burns of Watertown, S.D., has signed with the Jamestown College Knight Line Dance Team.
Burns has experience in Cechetti ballet, contemporary, tap, jazz, musical theatre, Irish dance, kick, hip-hop, pom and pointe. She lettered in competitive dance for four years and performance dance for two years at Watertown High School.
“I love to dance, and have been doing it since I was in kindergarten and it is a passion of mine,” Burns said. “(I look forward to) making new friends, continuing to do something that I love, learning new dances and making new memories.”
Burns also was on the Honor Roll four years and the recipient of the Awesome Arrow Academic Award.
The daughter of Brent and Jennifer Burns, she plans to study nursing at JC.
