Two people sentenced on felony charges
Two people were sentenced on felony charges in Southeast District Court in Jamestown. Michelle Lynn Gonzalez, 43, 904 13th St. NE, # 9, pleaded guilty to theft of property, a Class C felony.

Michelle Lynn Gonzalez, 43, 904 13th St. NE, # 9, pleaded guilty to theft of property, a Class C felony.
Gonzalez was accused of stealing a vehicle valued at more than $500 on or about Feb. 16.
Judge Thomas E. Merrick sentenced Gonzalez to 13 months in jail with 245 days suspended and 39 days credit for time served. Gonzalez is allowed work release from April 26 to Aug. 26.
Gonzalez was also sentenced to one year supervised probation and ordered to pay a $400 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility administration fee, $25 indigent defense application fee, $300 indigent recoupment and $25 victim-witness fee.
A Class C felony is punishable by five years in prison and a fine of $5,000.
Adam Kozlowski, 20, Ramsey, Minn., pleaded guilty to simple assault on a peace officer or correctional institution employee, a Class C felony.
Kozlowski was accused of willfully causing bodily injury to a Stutsman County Correctional Center employee on or about Feb. 4.
Judge John Greenwood sentenced Kozlowski to a six-month deferred imposition of sentence and ordered him to pay a $400 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility administration fee, $25 indigent defense application fee and $25 victim-witness fee. He was placed on supervised probation for six months.
