Junior golf academy set for this month
The Junior Jays Golf Academy for girls in grades 5-8 is planned for May 14-15 and May 21-22 at Hillcrest Golf Course.
The Junior Jays Golf Academy for girls in grades 5-8 is planned for May 14-15 and May 21-22 at Hillcrest Golf Course.
The program is for beginning or intermediate players for instruction in putting, short game, full swing, basic rules and etiquette.
Times are 3:30-5:30 p.m. The academy will be coached by qualified adult volunteers and members of the Jamestown College golf team.
There is no cost. Clubs are provided if needed.
Deadline to register is May 10. Registration forms are available through the schools or at Hillcrest Golf Course.
