GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Seventy-eight people are eligible to get their law degrees from the University of North Dakota this spring.

UND's School of Law was holding its spring commencement ceremony on Saturday at the Chester Fritz Auditorium on campus. North Dakota Supreme Court Chief Justice Gerald VandeWalle was tabbed to give the keynote speech.

Four graduates this spring are receiving the first certificates bestowed under the school's Indian Law Certificate Program, which started last spring. The students were required to take 17 credits in classes related to Indian law and tribal law.
