The Community Calendar publishes events, meetings and fundraisers in The Jamestown Sun at no charge. Include the type of event, date, time, location (including address) and any admission fee. Provide a contact name and telephone number for verification/questions.

Commercial events (those meant to earn a profit for a business) will not be accepted for this calendar.

Monday, May 7

Special events

Kiwanis Pancake Day, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Knights of Columbus Hall. Tickets: $8 per person, $22 per family and $4 for children ages 6-12. Children pre-school age and under eat free. Tickets are available at the door.

Public meetings

Jamestown Public School Board, 5:15 p.m., Thompson Community Room, Jamestown Middle School.
