Hospice program topic at Rotary
The May 1 Rotary meeting was called to order and presided over by President Doug Frohlich. Curt Liechty gave the invocation, Katie Andersen led the music and Marv Tokach collected “Happy Dollars” for Rotary projects.

Frohlich reminded the members of the Rokiwan cleanup May 24 at 5 p.m. and the All Star Soccer game to be held June 6. Mill Hill cleanup will be announced by email. Guest at the meeting was Mary Jensen.
For the program Vince Gregor introduced Ginne Hendrickson, hospice coordinator for Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Since 1995 Jamestown Regional Medical Center Hospice has been committed to providing individuals with compassionate end-of-life care. Hospice’s mission is to help individuals and their families through the special challenges of life’s last season. Its purpose is to give caregivers a respite and provide socialization for patients. Hospice is desperately short of volunteers. If anyone is interested, call Ginne at 952-4809.
Mark Anderson is in charge of the program today in which Woody Barth, the new North Dakota Farmers Union president, will speak. Andersen will give the invocation, song leader is Tim Ottmar and Mike Smyth is sergeant-at-arms.
