Man arrested for DUI

One person was arrested after three vehicles were damaged following a Sunday evening car crash, according to the Jamestown Police Department. The accident happened around 8:40 p.m. on the 200 block of Eighth Avenue Southeast.

One person was arrested after three vehicles were damaged following a Sunday evening car crash, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The accident happened around 8:40 p.m. on the 200 block of Eighth Avenue Southeast.

Michael Wentz, 38, 607 Seventh Ave. SE, was driving a 1993 General Motors southbound on the 200 block of Eighth Avenue.

He struck a driverless 2005 Toyota, which then struck a driverless 2004 Ford.

There was $4,000 in damage to the GM, $1,000 in damage to the Toyota and $4,000 in damage to the Ford.

Wentz was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Jamestown Regional Medical Center for non-incapacitating injuries.

Wentz was also arrested for DUI.
