Top Designers Salon & Spa in the Buffalo Mall is planning a fundraiser for Jamestown Sexual Assault Response Team this weekend.
Top Designers Salon & Spa in the Buffalo Mall is planning a fundraiser for Jamestown Sexual Assault Response Team this weekend.
The salon’s staff will be serving barbecues, doing $15 haircuts, glitter tattoos, handing out balloons and holding a silent auction from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday with all proceeds going toward the team. The Fraternal Order of Police, area businesses and a team from Matrix are helping with the fundraiser.
The team is made up of representatives from the state’s attorney’s office, advocates from Safe Shelter, law enforcement and nurses and aides victims of sexual assault. The team recently had a significant amount of its funding cut.
