CNA classes planned here

A training skills class is planned at the James Career and Technology Center in Jamestown.

A training skills class is planned at the James Career and Technology Center in Jamestown.

This 18-hour curriculum is open to anyone 16 years of age or older interested in becoming a certified nurse’s assistant. The class teaches the basic hands-on skills needed to challenge that part of the CNA test. Some independent study is required to pass the written portion of the test. All materials needed for study are available.

The next class begins May 29. It runs from 6 to 9 p.m. May 29-30 and June 4-5 and 7. Testing is on June 12. The cost of the class is $100.
