Schmidt places first at state

Julie Schmidt of Jamestown won the Optional 3-game event at the Women’s Senior State Bowling Tournament in Harvey last weekend.

Schmidt posted a score of 628, nine pins better than anybody else.

Marce Seibel of Harvey and Goodrich’s Karen Konschak each rolled 200-plus games in the tournament, which ran four weekends.
