ND man pleads to beating propane business worker
A New Town man has pleaded guilty in federal court to assaulting an employee at a propane business.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A New Town man has pleaded guilty in federal court to assaulting an employee at a propane business.
Forty-year-old Robert Brugh was accused of beating an employee at United Prairie Cooperative in New Town on Jan. 9 because the business could not deliver propane that day. U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon says the employee suffered a brain injury and a skull fracture and was hospitalized for several days.
Brugh faces up to 10 years in prison when he is sentenced Aug. 3 on the charge of assault resulting in serious bodily injury.
