GRAND FORKS (AP) — Bail has been set at $100,000 for a 24-year-old Grand Forks man accused of breaking into a mobile home, beating a man and killing a dog.
KFGO reported that Cody Boulduc appeared in court on six felony charges, including burglary, aggravated assault and felonious restraint.
He’s one of three men charged in the case. Twenty-eight-year-old Allen Ratliff of Grafton and 27-year-old Nathan Ratliff of Fargo appeared in court earlier this week on similar charges.
Authorities allege the three men broke into a couple’s home on April 30 demanding drugs and money, and fled after beating the husband, killing one of the couple’s Chihuahuas and stealing several items and prescription drugs.
Police said they have not established if there was a prior relationship between the suspects and the couple.
