North Dakota State University is losing a freshman backup quarterback.
FARGO (AP) — North Dakota State University is losing a freshman backup quarterback.
Ryan Stanford plans to transfer to Phoenix College for a semester with hopes of landing at another four-year school.
Stanford redshirted last season and did not play. He was No. 4 on the Bison depth chart for most of spring football.
Stanford was a standout high school quarterback in Arizona, where he set several state records.
