JC basketball camp scheduled

Jamestown College’s Men’s Basketball camp for players in Grades 5-10 is scheduled for May 29-June 1.

Cost is $60. Times are from 9 a.m.-noon. Check-in set for May 29 from 8:30-9 a.m.

Camp will be held at the Larson Center/YMCA building on the campus of Jamestown College.

All participants receive a T-shirt. Camp has limited space. Campers are asked to register by May 15.

Camp will be conducted by Jimmie coaches and players.

Overall skills development will be the focus. Games and prizes will be awarded daily.

JTA tennis camp May 13 and 20

The Jamestown Tennis Association will be conducting a youth tennis mini-camp for boys and girls in grades 1-7 May 13 and 20.

The camp will be run by JTA, high school coaches and high school varsity players.

Cost is $35 and includes a T-shirt. Camp will be held at Bolinger Courts.

Camp will focus on fundamentals of tennis, scoring and match play.

Grades 1-4 will be from 12-4 p.m. both days. Grades 5-7 will be from 4:30-8:30 p.m. both days. Participants are asked to bring a racket.
