Seminar on rabbits, poultry set

Youth or adults interested in raising and showing rabbits and poultry can learn more at seminars scheduled at the Stutsman County Fairgrounds today. The schedule includes a swap meet beginning at 9 a.m. offering poultry, rabbits and equipment.

The schedule includes a swap meet beginning at 9 a.m. offering poultry, rabbits and equipment.

Don Ost, poultry superintendent for the North Dakota State Fair, will conduct a poultry seminar from 10 a.m. to noon and Tom Norman, Jamestown rabbit raiser, will hold a rabbit seminar from 1 to 3 p.m.

The seminars will teach about animal selection, feeding and showing and are aimed at 4-H members.

The event is sponsored by the Stutsman County 4-H clubs. An admission of $5 will be charged at the gate.
