DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — Dickinson officials say a recycling site in the city is causing a safety hazard and will be closed.

The Dickinson Press reported sthat the site is being used to dump hazardous waste and tree branches.
Fire Chief Bob Sivak says constructed debris, water heaters, planks with spikes and open buckets of oil have been dumped at the site.
Mayor Dennis Johnson says he's disappointed that people have abused the site.
Twelve-year-old Christopher Brazelton volunteers at the site for his Boy Scout Troop. He says he's found everything from paint brushes to bullets at the site.
