Damage reported in two-car crash

More than $10,000 in damage was reported in a Tuesday accident when a driver fell asleep at the wheel, according to the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.

More than $10,000 in damage was reported in a Tuesday accident when a driver fell asleep at the wheel, according to the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened around 10 p.m. on Interstate 94 near mile marker 237.

Seth Lund, 25, Fargo, was driving a 1999 General Motors eastbound on I-94.

Rodney Adams, 59, Wendell, Idaho, was driving a 2011 Peterbilt, eastbound on I-94 in front of Lund.

The report said Lund fell asleep and was awoken when he struck Adams.

There were no injuries and both drivers wore seat belts.

There was an estimated $10,000 in damage to the General Motors, and $200 to the semi.

Lund was cited for driving without liability insurance, driving while license is revoked and care required.
