TCT hosting youth hunting program

Tri-County Trap and Wildlife Club of Wimbledon will be hosting a youth event as part of Encouraging Tomorrows Hunters program.

Tri-County Trap and Wildlife Club of Wimbledon will be hosting a youth event as part of Encouraging Tomorrows Hunters program.

The program is for boys and girls ages 12-18. Topics featured will include learning or improving shotgun shooting skills, hunting skills and promoting gun safety.

All participants must have taken and passed the North Dakota Hunter Safety Education Course.

Safety and shooting will be taught on trap, skeet and 5-stand ranges. Actual hunting will take place in the field.

Program activities will be conducted on selected Monday nights in June, July and August. An organizational meeting is scheduled for June 4 at Tri-County Trap and Wildlife Club.

The program is made possible by a grant from the N.D. Game and Fish Department.
