Murillo signs with Jimmie wrestling
Joey Murillo of El Paso, Texas, has signed a letter of intent to attend Jamestown College and wrestle for the Jimmies.
Joey Murillo of El Paso, Texas, has signed a letter of intent to attend Jamestown College and wrestle for the Jimmies.
Murillo, an all-state selection at 113 pounds, he’s also a regional champion, three-time district champion and a two-time state-meet qualifier.
“We are very pleased to have signed Joey to our roster,” JC coach C.J. Campbell said. “He is a solid wrestler from a tough state with some pretty impressive accomplishments, both athletically and academically.”
Murillo plans to major in nursing at JC.
