MN man faces firearm charge in North Dakota

A North Dakota grand jury has indicted a Minnesota man for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota grand jury has indicted a Minnesota man for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The Duluth News Tribune reports that 26-year-old Nathaniel Michael Norris, who is also known by the last name Jaffe-Norris, is awaiting a June 26 trial date. He is being held in Fargo.

According to the indictment, grand jurors found that Norris was in possession of a firearm as convicted felon between March 1 and April 11.

Norris faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted.
