Cusano signs with Jamestown College

Alex Cusano of East Lyme High School in Niantic, Conn., has inked a letter of intent to enroll at Jamestown College, where he’ll compete on the wrestling team, starting in the fall.

Alex Cusano of East Lyme High School in Niantic, Conn., has inked a letter of intent to enroll at Jamestown College, where he’ll compete on the wrestling team, starting in the fall.

Cusano, a 2012 state runner-up, is also a two-time state placer. He’s also a conference finalist, a freestyle finalist and a Pop-N-Flo All-American at 170 pounds.

“Alex is our top recruit so far this season, and we are glad that he will be joining our lineup,” JC coach C.J. Campbell said. “His presence at the 165-pound weight class should be well felt.”

Cusano intends on majoring in pre-physical theraphy.
