Dakota Square Mall in Minot sold to TN company

The ownership of Dakota Square Mall in Minot has changed hands.

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — The ownership of Dakota Square Mall in Minot has changed hands.

Tennessee-based CBL & Associates Properties Inc. says it has bought the property from the Lightstone Group in a deal worth more than $91 million. That includes the assumption of a $59 million loan.

New Jersey-based Lightstone Group bought the 622,000-square-foot mall in 2005, paying $56 million to New York-based Granite Partners LLC.

CBL & Associates Properties has an interest in 160 properties in 27 states.
