Wyoming runner signs with Jimmies
McKenna Hauschild of Gillette, Wyo., has signed a letter of intent to attend Jamestown College and participate in cross country and track and field.
McKenna Hauschild of Gillette, Wyo., has signed a letter of intent to attend Jamestown College and participate in cross country and track and field.
Hauschild has a career best of time 20 minutes and 54 seconds in the 5,000 meters. Other PRs include 3,200 (12:10.20), 1,600 (5:54.59) and 800 (2:38.69) for Campbell County High School.
She carries a 4.0 GPA and is involved in drama, art and band.
“McKenna is coming off a very good senior year in track and field for the Camels in which she qualified for state in the 3,200,” JC women’s coach Jim Clark said. “It will be fun to work with McKenna and hopefully watch her grow as a runner and also excel in the classroom.”
The daughter of Annette and Brian Hauschild, she plans to major in mathematics at JC.
