To submit an activity, email it to ksteiner@jamestownsun.com — with “Calendar” in the subject line — or fax to 701-952-8477. Include the type of event, date, time, location (including address) and any admission fee. Provide a contact name and telephone number for verification/questions.

Commercial events (those meant to earn a profit for a business) will not be accepted for this calendar.

Memorial Day observances in area: Jamestown, 9 a.m., Knights of Columbus Hall, with ceremony after at Nickeus Park, brief ceremony at 10:30 a.m. at Veteran’s Memorial at Fort Seward; Wimbledon, 10 a.m., Wimbledon Fire Hall; Gackle, 10 a.m., American Legion hall; Pingree, 10:30 a.m., Pingree/Edmonds Community Center; Streeter, 10:30 a.m., community hall.
