Stevenson, Bunde speak at Kiwanis
Tim Burchill introduced Jodie Bunde and Kate Stevenson to speak on the “Tribute to Peggy Lee Concert” and also the Barnes County Museum at the Kiwanis Club’s noon luncheon meeting May 21 at the Lantern Room.

Stevenson is the associate professor and chair of foreign languages at Jamestown College. Bunde is the director of dietary at Ave Maria Village. They were both working on the Peggy Lee concert which was held at the Reiland Fine Arts Center May 25. On May 26, Lee would have turned 92, so the concert was to celebrate her birthday. On May 26, the grand opening of the Midland Continental Depot in Wimbledon celebrated Lee with its museum. Lee once lived in Wimbledon. Stevenson said family members from New York were coming to the festivities and Stacy Sullivan, from New York, was the starring jazz vocalist.
Burchill led the meeting attended by 27 members and one guest. Brittany Mittleider was a guest of her father, Clarence. Don and Sharon Caine led the group singing and Katie Ryan-Anderson collected “Happy Dollars” for Camp Rokiwan.
It was announced that Meals on Wheels would be delivered by Kiwanians on June 5. On June 4 Keith Veil from Jamestown Speedway will be the speaker.
