The Nordic Fest in Decorah, Iowa, will be from July 26-28. It’s $425 round trip. Those thinking of attending need to know by July 1. Check with Marilyn Garrett for more information.

The Sverdrup Lodge is asking all Norwegians to contribute to the Heritage Center. They want to name a room “The Sons of Norway.” There would be a kiosk with your name of a loved one. Someone is coming to Jamestown at the Jamestown College Nafus Center from 10 a.m. to noon June 27 to discuss this.

Genevieve Siedschlag received a Golden Membership Award last month.

The next meeting is at 6:30 p.m. June 19 at Elden England’s. It’s a midsummer’s eve picnic and bonfire. It is potluck, but the hot dogs and dessert will be furnished.

Anyone who has questions may call Garrett at 952-1035.
