Alber shares speech at Toastmasters

Speaker Deb Alber started on her two-part speech on “The Art of Effective Evaluation.” She discussed how effective evaluation helps the speaker, the evaluator and the club. Alber also shared three goals of her two-part speech. She will continue today.

The meeting was turned back over to President Paul Behle and members held elections for the leaders in toastmasters. These positions will be in effect on July 1.

Elected were: Vice President of Membership Martin Monek, Vice President of Public Relations Schwartzkopf, Secretary Melissa Goodrich, Treasurer Alber, Sergeant at Arms Masaki Ova, Vice President of Education Bryan Jones and President Anita Monek

All of these members were present and agreed to their nominations and elections.

Jamestown Toastmasters will meet at 6 p.m. today. Along with Alber’s speech, Anita Monek and Rick Scott will speak, and Behle and Jones who will evaluate their speeches.
