ND man killed in construction accident identified
Police have identified the man killed in a construction accident Friday in West Fargo as 30-year-old Trevor James Skarphol of Fargo.
WEST FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Police have identified the man killed in a construction accident Friday in West Fargo as 30-year-old Trevor James Skarphol of Fargo.
Skarphol died after a 28-foot steel beam fell on him while he was working on a new addition to the Sheyenne Ninth Grade Center in West Fargo.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the accident.
The Forum newspaper reports that West Fargo Assistant Police Chief Mike Reitan says a police investigation found no indications of foul play.
Reitan says Skarphol worked for Scott's Electric of Wahpeton, a subcontractor on the project.
